your tasks

• perform rudimentary and functional testing on pcb assemblies using test fixtures and test system.
• troubleshoot and repair defective boards to the component level using schematics and test equipment.
• document failure modes, repair actions and test results accurately in logs or databases.
• use oscilloscopes, multimeters, spectrum analyzers and other diagnostic equipment effectively.
• support root cause analysis and corrective actions for recurring board-level failures.
• communicate findings and recommendations to production, engineering and quality teams.
• interpret and work from schematics, layout diagrams, test procedures and assembly drawings.
• assist in the development and improvement of test processes and troubleshooting guides.

your qualifications

• diploma in electronics, telecommunication technology or relevant engineering field.
• 2 years of experience testing and troubleshooting electronic assemblies at the board level.
• strong understanding of analog and digital circuit principles.
• proficient in reading and interpreting schematics and pcb layout drawings.
• hands-on experience with soldering, desoldering and rework of electronic components.
• experience in using test instruments including oscilloscopes, multimeters, spectrum analyzer and power supplies.
• familiarity with ipc-a-610 and ipc-7711/7721 standards.
• strong attention to detail and analytical thinking.
• experience in a contract manufacturing or high-mix, low-volume environment.
• familiarity with automated test systems or boundary scan tools .
• experience working with rf or high-speed digital circuits is a plus.
