devops engineer works closely with research & development, testing, quality assurance and production department providing support for development and deployment tools, virtual environment, in-house products systems setup, configuration, monitoring, load testing etc. you will drive continuous process improvement and increase the efficiency and quality of our ci/cd framework. you will identify and implement creative ways to monitor and reduce software quality assurance cycle times and accelerate adoption of continuous integration best practices.

setup/administration of server farm;
setup/administration of network equipment’s;
setup/administration of virtual machines;
monitor systems and identify patterns that affect the performance, reliability, or availability of a product or service and drive them out of the system through automation or other technical innovations;
implement automation of recurrent tasks through scripting;
maintain documentation regarding configurations, operations and troubleshooting procedures.

your qualifications

university degree in electronics, computer science or similar education;
minimum 3 years of experience;
very good knowledge on linux os administration;
very good knowledge on tcp/ip networking concepts;
master virtualization concepts (virtual machines, containers);
knowledge on sql and/or postgresql databases;
proficiency using versioning tools (git, svn), experience working with ci/cd concepts and methodologies, kubernetes;
experience with infrastructure as a code, ansible, yaml, orchestration;
good knowledge on monitoring technologies/tools (zabbix, grafana, etc.);
love working with scripting languages (python, bash, etc.);
attention to details, ability to fast adapt to new technologies;
product lifecycle and software release;
documentation/technical writing skills – is a plus;
experience working on agile/scrum methodologies – is a plus;
essential english skills – german is a plus;
minimal security concepts for infrastructure (network, application, certification) – also a plus;
team player.
