rohde & schwarz is seeking a qualified business development manager to be a key stakeholder in growing the airborne communications systems portfolio in north america. as business development manager, you will be part of a team dedicated to enabling our customers to solve complex technical problems through a solutions-based sales approach. the position will be responsible for selling airborne communications system solutions to our us government customer base and commercial aerospace oems.
your tasks
- understand customer needs and identify how rohde & schwarz products can provide technical solutions
- cultivate new customer relationships and develop into lasting partnerships
- expand and grow existing customer relationships
- grow market share and exceed quota
- build and manage a strong sales funnel
- ensure accurate and timely tracking of business opportunities and customer contacts via customer relationship management (crm) software.
- work closely with other account managers, business development managers, program management, product line management, engineering and other core functional leaders across the segment and corporate organizational structure.
