as one of our test & measurement account managers, you will be part of a customer-focused team dedicated to maximizing sales through the development of new business and working closely with our existing customers utilizing a solutions-based sales approach. product categories that enable our customers to succeed include spectrum/signal analyzers, network analyzers, signal generators, oscilloscopes, power meters, and communication test systems. we are currently looking for an account manager to be based in maryland/dc/northern virginia focusing on expanding our business into established and existing accounts and support our existing accounts.
your tasks
- understand customer needs and identify how rohde & schwarz products can provide technical solutions
- create new business opportunities and expanding rohde & schwarz brand awareness in existing customers - effectively demonstrate and communicate how rohde & schwarz products can best solve the customers measurement/application problems - grow the r&s market share and exceed quota
- develop and manage a strong sales funnel
- provide input and feedback to product marketing, service and development groups on customer product and application requirements
