as one of our test & measurement sales engineers/account managers, you will be part of a customer-focused team dedicated to maximizing sales through the development of new business and working closely with our existing customers utilizing a solutions-based sales approach. product categories that enable our customers to succeed include spectrum/signal analyzers, network analyzers, signal generators, oscilloscopes, power meters, and communication test systems. we are currently looking for an account manager to be based in the mid atlantic (md/va) area and support existing customers as well as focus on developing new accounts.
your tasks
- understand customer needs and identify how rohde & schwarz products can provide technical solutions
- create new business opportunities and expand rohde & schwarz brand awareness in new and existing customers
- effectively demonstrate and communicate how rohde & schwarz products can best solve the customers’ measurement/application needs
- grow the r&s market share and exceed quota
- develop and manage a strong sales funnel
- provide input and feedback to product marketing, service and development groups on customer product and application requirements
