rohde & schwarz is seeking a qualified business development manager to be a key stakeholder in growing the air traffic control portfolio in north america. as an account manager, you will be part of a team dedicated to enabling our customers to solve complex technical problems through a solutions-based sales approach. the position will be responsible for selling communication and critical infrastructure solutions primarily to our us government customer base including, but not limited to, faa and dow.
your tasks
- understand customer needs and identify how rohde & schwarz products can provide technical solutions
- cultivate new customer relationships and develop into lasting partnerships
- expand and grow existing customer relationships
- grow market share and exceed quota
- build and manage a strong sales funnel
- ensure accurate and timely tracking of business opportunities and customer contacts via customer relationship management (crm) software.
- work closely with other account managers, business development managers, program management, product line management, engineering and other core functional leaders across the segment and corporate organizational structure.
